• Smartphone with Bluetooth (iOS or Android)
• USB-C charging cable

Setup Steps

1. Safe Device Assembly

⚠️ CRITICAL: Connect LoRa antenna before battery connection to prevent radio module damage.

1. Connect battery to BATT port (not solar port) - Device powers on automatically
   
   
2. Snap case closed - Place assembled unit in Alley Cat case

2. Install App

• Download "Meshtastic" from App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android)

3. Connect Device

1. Enable Bluetooth on phone
2. Open Meshtastic app → Tap "Add Device" or "+"
3. Select your T114 from device list
4. Complete pairing - enter PIN if displayed on T114 screen

4. Configure

1. Set display name for your device
2. Select region (country) for frequency settings
3. Choose "LongFast" channel for general use
4. Enable GPS for location sharing (optional)

5. Test

• Send test message on default channel
• Verify GPS location appears (if enabled)
• Check battery level in app
